Original Boat Information

Ordered by the NZ Colonial Govt Oct. 1963, designed by James Stewart C.E., & built by P.N. Russell & Co. Sydney Australia. Delivered in parts & assembled Port Waikato. Assembly was rushed. Shallow draft supply vessel and for towing supply barges. Had a short 2 year life on the river before being stripped of machinery, to be used as a storehouse, before sinking at her mooring.
